Chief Master Sergeant Valise L. Godley
Chief Master Sergeant Valise L. Godley served as the Commandant of the FOrest L. Vosler NCO Academy, Barnes Center for Enlisted Education, Air Education and Training Command, Peterson AFB, Colorado. She began her career as a radio communications apprentice.
Lula Hymes Glenn – Tuskegee Alumna
Lula Hymes Glenn was called “America’s greatest girl track and field athlete” by the Atlanta Constitution in 1940. Mrs. Glenn won three gold medals in the 1937 National Track and Field Meet and tied the world record time for the 100-meter dash at 11.5 seconds in 1939. She describes her pre-Civil Rights era experiences.
